The film will continue the story of Rohit Mehra and his superhero son Krrish, after Koi... Mil Gaya and rrish,[2] this being the third film of the Krrish film seriesIn the first half, Vivek has his own look and his own den, a very modern facility which is visible in the trailer. He then changes himself in the second half. Here, he has extraordinary powers and he doesn’t know why he has them. He is handicapped and is able to cure himself. He is pitted against this world, against human beings and there is reason for this.

Krrish 3 is an upcoming Bollywood superhero science fiction film. The film will be produced and directed by Rakesh Roshan. The film will continue the story of Rohit Mehra and his superhero son Krrish, after Koi... Mil Gaya (2003) and Krrish (2006), this being the third film of the Krrish film series. Both the previous films were hugely successful at the box office. The film was supposed to released along with its 3D format on Diwali, November 4, 2013. However, due to lack of time to convert the film to 3D, Rakesh Roshan later confirmed that the film will be released only in the 2D format. The film has been rescheduled to release on November 1, 2013.
The official Krrish 3 trailer, launched with much media fanfare on August 5, 2013 (two months ahead of the film's scheduled theatrical release), broke all previous Indian film records for movie trailers by attracting more than 12 million views at YouTube in less than two weeks- even eclipsing the trailers for such Hollywood superhero mega-blockbusters as Thor (2011) and The Avengers (2012)
